Lehua Muraoka-Viernes attended and graduated from Campbell High School. In the years following graduation, she attended the Academy of Art University for graphic design. While studying graphic design, in 2011 she accepted a part-time position at Hawaii Vision Associates as an optometric technician. Though she enjoyed studying graphic design, she began taking on more job responsibilities and ultimately became full-time with Hawaii Vision Associates. According to Lehua, its the patients and especially her co-workers that has made her decision to focus her efforts on work extremely rewarding . Her time studying graphic design was not in vain, Lehua designed the company’s HVA logo and is always readily available to offer advice and her artistic eye for promotional material.
Because of her unfailing work ethic and her ability to learn things quickly and do them efficiently, in 2014 Lehua became the office manager of Hawaii Vision Associates’ busiest locations-Pearl City Sam’s Club. Though she is the youngest office manager in the Hawaii Vision Associates family, she has proven herself to be able to handle the stress that comes with management. She is a true asset to the company.
In Lehua’s free-time, she enjoys traveling and exploring. She has traveled to Greece and London. She explored the Swiss Alphs and sailed across the river Thames. Her ultimate dream is to someday travel the world in 21 days.
